I am looking for some work-preferably something long term, but not necessary.
I take a straight 2 cents per word so a 400 word article costs just $8.00.

everyone has their own price; if she can deliver quality, then $8 are well worth it for 400 words.

ontopic: provide some review copy articles (as in, free..) for some people around so you can get the ball rollin'

We still don't know whether SHE is appropriate to use here...
 
The quality has to be pretty high for $8 per 400 words around here. You can find people from India, Pakistan, Malaysia, and other places who write better than most Americans for $4-5 per 400-600 words. PM me a sample or post one here.
