Just saw profitswami.com

His whole life seems to be 100% centered on the training shit. Hes is no affiliate marketer. Just look at his to do list.

Yes, he seems to be training while IN training himself. Another damn regurgitator!! Based on the infantile babble coming from his mouth I was waiting for him to tell us how we should NOT "Shave Against the Grain".

He should be classified as a "Lambofile"!! He's not good enough to actually fleece "The Grown Up Sheep" yet!! lulz!!!

His time-line also seemed to be off on in his "Poor Little ME/YOU Boy" story.

Did you see his "Partner's" domain? Awaken The Fighter Mentality! (iwillfight.com) It's just an extension of the "Poor mistreated ME" story.

P.S. These posts should really be in the "Profit Swami" thread that was started earlier. http://www.wickedfire.com/shooting-shit/62591-uh-oh-better-bow-profit-swami.html

Remaining an affiliate doesn't make sense to him anymore. After making millions already with PPC Classroom, he is doing just fine without having to focus on other things.

Hes following the Warrior Forum route to wealth.

Based on his speaking skills a year ago in the vid below (Which is on his front page.), I'd say that he was focused on OTHER THINGS while talking.

It would be WISE for him to spend some time here Toastmasters International - Home if he is going to be in front of people and speaking to make his monies now.

Hes the nerd version of shamwow... He really sounds like he believes in the BS he talks about.

Think his site is bad? Check out his friendster profile hehe.

Yes, I already gave you +rep in the other thread for your handi-work!! LOL!!

For some reason my host file had not been working for the last 2 weeks in Win7 RC. I was DR'ing myself every day to check it. I got a good self induced MS at about 6 yesterday evening. So just imagine my surprise when I saw the Swami and then was disconnected!!

You spun me, but you didn't. So I gave you the + rep for the nice redirect anyway!! lulz!!

Nothing against the dude nor defending him. I've met him personally in Vegas and to answer the question, yes, quite a bit actually.

Its an interested relationship between "internet gurus" and affiliate marketers. Some of the "gurus" actually made great money at affiliate marketing. Most of them, because they enjoy it more and often make more money at it, give up affiliate marketing to "teach" it.

Many of the affiliate marketers who do not want to "teach" hate the "gurus" for what they do now.

But it's really counter intuitive. People praise the shamwow guy and hate the internet "guru". We all live on different parts of the same damn ship.

If they can make money teaching and love it, more power to them. I've thought about "teaching" but IMO its a much bigger pain in the ass dealing with the same 17 questions, returns, complaints, and UNMOTIVATED people. I did that for six years in the brick and mortar seminar business and till this day I still get exhausted thinking about having to motivate a sheep.

Give me a computer, a quiet room and let me build campaigns and that's fine with me. The "gurus" can take the glory. And the headaches.

I'll out earn his ass this year anyway.

So very true. For me, it's always been that the more I helped, the more I made. I never really went the route of charging memberships and shit like that but your right on with counter intuitive.

Some of them do it because they have the manpower and organization to stretch into other things. Look at PPC Coach, Will has an excellent setup, multiple income sources from being an affiliate, a membership owner, a network owner and a product owner. I dont laugh at them a bit, I too have multiple businesses but it seems that in this game if you are selling something to other marketers, that's a no-no.

I dunno really, I dont pay much attention to it. Everyone has their model/s and that's the way it is. No matter how much you make fun of someone or how bad you think you "pwned" them, successful people always get thru it. The barrier of entry in this business is just too small NOT to succeed.

I totally agree. I also think its hard to "sell" something to a good marketer.

Fuck, I "studied" affiliate marketing for 9 months before I made my first campaign.

Before I knew about the free resources of this forum, I found all kinds of ways to get my hands on courses that retailed for $1000's of dollars and pay nothing for them. For instance, I'd buy a used product, that retailed for $2997, for $400 on ebay, study it, then sell it back on ebay right when the original retailer would do a "relaunch" for $2997. I'd list it for $700 on ebay with a link to the long form sales letter listing it at $2997.

I learned the material and made $300 for my time.

Sheep don't think like that. But spamming boards like Wickedfire where real marketers are is a waste of time and idiotic.

I mean i'll be honest, I first learned what affiliate marketing was because I found Amit's blog because I was looking up the AMEX centurion card, not kidding. but finding wickedfire was a way more valuable resource, because all of his posts were either motivational hoo-hah, or trying to get me to sign up for some class, I didn't want to shell out $$$ for something I could learn free.

the info here was way more valuable and pushed me to start PPC more than his stuff ever did.
