Another Dog Thread...Your Dog's Endurance?

Reading a thread about dog toys made me think of my own puppy (15 months old). I'm just wondering if she has abnormal endurance or not.

What's the most physical activity you've seen your dog do in one period of time?

I have a shepherd/boxer mix and she loves any sort of hardcore physical activity. The most impressive thing I've seen is when she swam in a pool for 90 minutes straight, while chasing a ball. My brother was at one end of the pool (long pool) and I was on the other. We tossed each other a tennis ball and she'd swim as fast as she could to chase it. I timed it and after 90 minutes without any break I decided to cut it off because I honestly thought she might go until she died haha. Not only was she treading water for the 90 minutes, she was sprinting as fast as she should the entire time.

All of my friends tell me she's a freak, should I enter this bitch (literally) into some sort of competition?
 


whoa, that's a long time, and swimming is tough.

My dog (lab mix) tailed me on a 15-hr horseback ride once (I got lost). We were up at about 12300-13000 elevation in the San Juan Mts. When I finally got home, I was dizzy and exhausted and it felt like I was full of sand. She trotted over and grabbed her frisbee from the toy box ready for more action.
 
My dog, the aforementioned Lab/Doberman cross, doesn't have the best endurance. She plays hard and will dominate other dogs in play out wrestling them and stealing toys, she loves to be the one being chased, but she can't keep up for more than an hour or so. I few of my friend's dogs over the years sound a lot like yours and would literally play fetch with a tennis ball until they expired if you let them.

One of my mates Step Mum has great endurance...according to my mate who heard her banging his brother for 6 hours straight....
