I know all the main stream sites like Odesk and elance and shit, but can anyone recommend a good outsourcing site that's a bit less saturated/fee happy?

I used to use Vworker.com but they got acquired by Freelancer.com and now it fucking sucks (they merged with freelancer - so it no longer exists).

Anyway if you can recommend a good outsourcing site/platform I'd appreciate it.

I've been wanting to try and hire desperate college kids on craigslist or even post up flyers around campuses near me. College kids love beer, pot and doing other dumb shit so this will just be an extra incentive to work together and hopefully improve the quality of work. Haven't had much luck with those shitty websites either although here and there you get lucky

What do you want them to do? I know tons of college kids that ask me for work all the time.

This is what has worked best for me, every now and then I get tempted to try a place like odesk only to have it bite me in the ass, the last time I hired a guy from the UK on odesk (at $80 an hour) he stopped responding and after searching for him on google I found out he had spent 8-12 hours a day for the past week or so doing play-by-play breakdowns of old soccer games on some stupid forum for free instead of actually working on the project.

College students have always been much more reliable, productive, and easier to communicate with. If you're going to outsource anything, start there.
