Just got into dubstep/house/electro/trance. Wanted to know if there was anyone here on WF (besides dreamache and ncmedia). Feel free to dump your shit here.

yeah but I don't do dubstep and all. Anyone use the Nexus 2 VST? I'm trying to cop the Hollywood expansion.

I play guitar and have been learning ableton for the past few months. As of this year I've been listening to more and more electronic music. Coming from a guitar background production has been interesting for me, for me it's been somewhat technical to get into but I think once you've got it songmaking becomes much simpler.

Well I've been dicking around with music production for about 5-6 years now. I mainly make hip-hop but I don't limit myself. I've done a bunch of production work and get royalty payments so technically I'm a professional musician. (You get this title even if you make $1 from Music, even busking) Pretty fun hobby and a good creative outlet.

I uploaded this just now since I have none of my work online, (boobs for CTR), since dubs are all the rage now, I proved that a dickhead like me could give it a decent go. Literally my first attempt at Dubstep. (it shows)

I've also produced for Australian hip-hop artists, (I'm based in Sydney) Get decent spin on radio.

Made both beats above when I was about 18/19. I'm currently making an instrumental album which has some of my best work.

+1 on Nexus and Massive, good soft synths. Most soft synths like those are largely similar, I've found that effects such as bitcrushing/filters/reverb etc. and tweaking really make it sound like "you."

^ Wow guys good shit! :)

I'm in the midst of dropping another software to produce with - it's actually been out for a bit but now that I'm involved you'll see this shit everywhere (keyword btvsolo).

Here's a compilation of my recent shit: remixes::

2012 = my first full album - been trying to fucking make one for MANY years just can't seem to knock it out (way different when it's not a biz project, and if I do this music thing on a big artist level I wanna do it right. 13 years of producing I think I'm ready for the full shit and can do most of it internally - even distribution so yeah watch for me this year :)).

Checked out your stuff, sick shit. Best of luck with it.

But I definately I FEEL YA with the full album thing. I'm in the same boat and I've been trying to release a...well release for 3 years now. I totally know how Dr Dre feels with his Detox shit. I attribute it to the shit combination of being a perfectionist whilst being lazy in terms of creative stuff.

Anyway, I will have my eyes open for your stuff ;)

I haven't mastered it. I'll go back and do that later, but it's just something I put together in a few hours.

I also do music production. Love it. Here is my latest:

Nexus is my favorite VST. And the Hollywood expansion rules, they did a great job with it. The song that I posted uses a lot from Hollywood.

I have 4 Audionews.ru invitations up for grabs. PM me if interested.

Best music production tracker. Has anything / everything you need for educational purposes of course.

I've seen people pay $ for an invite. If you're willing to trade any other tracker then I'm all for it, but I also don't mind giving it out free.

Oh awesome. Yeah I'm about to buy a few expansions. I've noticed a lot of hip hop producers using nexus.

My friend is trying to get some views for his video if you guys want to check out his drumming, he does everything related to music:
