Any opinions here about Onlive?

My friend mentioned using it a couple weeks ago.. Said it actually wasn't bad; beyond that I don't have any other valuable input :[

But yeah I remember hearing about this over a year ago when it was announced, I bought some domains but let them expire, damnit.

I've been on their beta program for about six months now. Only problem is I don't have a ton of time for games, but the service is pretty cool.
As far as I can tell, you can access it from a shitty PC, and as long as your connection is fast the shit is legit.

They have been running game sales almost every other weekend, but I only purchased a couple...Borderlands FTW...

Also, I have not tried the little system they are preselling that hooks to the TV. I have only played it on PC, but guessing it shouldn't matter since their servers are doing all the processing.

Looking great and on $99 this is great deal.

Just make sure your son wont be addicted to it.

I think he's already addicted to WOW. I'll test my theory out later by deleting one of his characters. I'll post the video later on break and try to win some money.

The only thing I don't like about it, is that it makes it so easy to spend money on games without even realizing it. I recently bought a TV w/ VUDU built in, and we spend a ton of money on HD movies w/out a second thought. And it's just because of the convenience. I could easily get the same movies w/ same quality from piratebay.

When he murders you, please have him post vid here.

I quit WoW over a year ago but if someone had deleted one of my chars back then, considering the hundreds of hours put into (more accurately "wasted on") each of them, I would have happily thrown them in front of speeding traffic.

Boy simply love such kind of addiction.

I wish I could have that for making money ... lolzzz
