Just bought an 05 tundra XSP today with 30k miles on it. Supposed to be the most reliable truck on the road ... that, and the XSP package had me won over from the get go. 20" enkei rims with 295/45/20 pirellis, chrome step bars, skid plate, and the color-leyed fender flares.

Anybody have Tundra or have any experience with them? I guess its a bit late to look for buying advice but at least I'll know what to look out for.

Nice looking truck! Good idea to buy used rather than new imo. Saves you a ton of money and you still get a pretty much brand new car.

Thanks Nick. I virtually stole the truck from the dealership and walked out paying $17k. The trucks blue book is $25,900 ... but all of the dealers are stuck holding their truck inventory with these gas prices. Got a full tank of gas, full detail in and out, and an extra key and remote ordered direct from toyota.

I also ended up with 4k miles on the bumper to bumper warranty and 28k on the powertrain (standard warranty on this model) -- I can't stand buying new vehicles or dealing with the salespeople though. I always go in and hit em hard, it's a battle. lol :D

If you're in AM and you like trucks, now or even further into this gas situation is the time to jump on one. Speaking for myself, I have a home office, no daily commute = who gives a shit about hybrids. Not like I do enough mileage to warrant the need for savings.
