They did the stupidest story ever on websites that rip you off. First they set up this site theunbelievablegiftcompany.co.uk for the handsome sum of £60, then they ran a few google adwords. Thing is, when people placed orders they would then ring them back and go "Ha-haaa! It's a fake!" so they didn't test the 'wonderful' protection that Paypal provide. I nearly had an asthma attack laughing at the low, low figures quoted of people getting ripped off via Paypal. Anyway, the one thing they emphasised is that people bought from the site because it looked nice and the prices were a few quid lower than the others. So there you go, a step by step guide on how to rip off the public brought to you by a consumer rights tv show.

Did they by chance provide keyword lists they used?
Since it was a BBC show they are certain to have spent our (licensepayers') money on the highest bid terms possible, since they were pushin iPods etc. Just google the site url, you'll see all the forum spamming they did for it.
