Hey I wanted to know if theres still anyone who codes in strictly HTML using Frontpage to create their arbi's or is there a downside to HTML? I would really like some opinions on this as from what I'm seeing you guys are using iframes I think to somehow target one keyword? I'm still a bit confused on it so let me know :)

I think just about everyone here who has been in the game long enough automates their arbitrage pages.

The best way I've found is to just write the code (as clear as you can) on a piece of lined paper and then scan it into the computer. I found dotting the i's with hearts increase CTR by over 20%.

Yeah that's good for making a bunch of sites that lose money. But personalizing each one and adding some love and flavor helps the most.

i use a standard size hole punch, and a big stack of these white "code cards" that i use for input in my computing system which outputs data similar to the input "cards", however they aren't white, they are green. I then take these green "cards", and exchange them for silly things like a Tilley's safari hat and Bush jacket, then buy a Land Rover Defender 110 truck, and drive it around here in the states acting like I am on a safari all day. When people ask, I just tell them i'm a hunting/safari guide. Most of them believe me, except they think I stole my Rolex(s). It's all in the CODE.

So how come some of us here are using iFrames or php? I don't understand the benefit yet, is it just easier because you keep your content in the frame and then just have your one main high paying keyword on site so you can target that specific site for your ads but since your content is in the iframe it does not affect it?

Also, do keywords in the meta affect ads?

i'm new here too but i don't seem to recall lots of people talking about iframing their RB pages. maybe i'm blind :anon.sml:

anyways - html or frontpage should be fine for you to get started and understand what you're doing. then you should be able to look at automating.

I have my own PHP templates and I write 2-3 paragraphs of semi-useful content per page. My first effort is netting an average of 20 bones a day. It's small beans compared to most of you, but not bad for a noob. I am using YPN, 7 Search, and a smaller/cheaper 3rd party site. Also, I use Dreamweaver for development.

right.

damn straight! anyway, i use gedit for making that code. it's like vi, only for the losers like me who use a GUI.
