Anyone doing well with Auto Insurance CPC programs like SureHits and BrokersWeb?

I'm currently building an auto insurance portal. I plan to monetize via SureHits. How do the payouts compare to BrokersWeb? I heard the quality system SureHits used has changed recently, and favors users who actual purchase a policy versus just filling out the lead form. Just wondering if anyone is having success? What are the CPC's like? Thanks!

Surehits always had a qualify system in place. If your traffic is above average, you may get about $3+ a click for auto.

Keep in mind that what they call a click is really what I call two clicks. 1 from your form, and then they have to actually click an offer.

So when you compare that with Adsense EPCs, it is not IMO, overwhelming.

$3? I got $6+ per click. SureHits does score your traffic, as mentioned, and you might start high but if they don't like your traffic it will tumble down significantly.

Brokersweb... don't know

I said an above average score...whatever...I've seen higher $ on some periods....still not overwhelming..these days I send almost no traffic to them. .it's still really TWO clicks... iMO. I guess it is best to test for yourself if you think your traffic will be better. I will say they are a very good company with good support.

My only interest is increasing my ROI for my own sites, not comparing them with yours. Apparently - in my case - other advertisers like my traffic better.

Care to choose a more competitive niche? Maybe the keyword "sex"?

Cliff Notes:
The eCPC varies by state
The eCPC varies by insurance product
The eCPC is normally higher with BrokersWeb
The eCPC vary by day and are lower on weekends

If you need help with hooking up w/ someone at Brokersweb let me know, I have a network of sites and generally trade good favors with a few people there.

BTW... I've had eCPCs over $10, not saying though. ;-)
