Anyone ever use "CrossBrowserTesting"?

Cross Browser Testing. Pick an OS, Pick a Browser, Test website

Wondering if any of you guys think it's worth it really, I guess more for LP designers and people who do straight up web design. Or if you've heard of it.

I have used Check Browser Compatibility, Cross Platform Browser Test - Browsershots, it's not instant but it works

I even found an utility which allowed you to preview a page in any version of Internet Explorer, but I can't remember the name

yeah I've used browsershots, I'm just wondering if there's any real benefit to this. you can use a site live, but I can VM for that really

you can run chrome, firefox, IE, safari and opera on a windows machine
I don't know if there are any real differences using the same browser on different operating systems

sure, for example, firefox render pages differently on linux due to different fonts

Maybe if it was free and didn't charge you on how long you use it.

I have no issue taking 5sec to click a few icons or run XP/7in a VM in another virtual desktop

I have used browser shots for years and yes its extremely useful. It's hard to have IE 5.5-7 all installed. Not to mention things render different on mac then windows. Adobe now also has a nice version, forgot the exact name but u can fine it easy.
