anyone have problems w/ namecheap hosting?

Anyone using namecheap hosting and having problems.
Love their domain service & just switched to them for hosting.
I heard they were DDOS'd last weekend -- which can happpen to any site-- but now I can't get cpanel to even load -- WTF? :angryfire:

Hmmm...

So the deal was -- I had minimized the logon screen to let my youngest kid go online. I guess at some point that tab was opened and after 5 logon attempts they locked my account. It only took a few minutes of online live cust service to fix it. So my bad I guess. They were very helpful.

This. Just like Godaddy they are fucking slow as fuck when switching and changing shit. I remember in my class my teacher advised us to go with domains and hosting from Godaddy I told him he shouldn't be suggesting that shit to people because it sucks ass lol
 
Yep always go with specialized groups, might get expensive just a bit but w/e i prefer the security knowing I wont get fcked over in my sleep

Exactly. Really, any sort of shared hosting is risky if you're doing any sort of volume. Go the dedicated server/vps/cloud route (or a combination thereof, with externally hosted DNS, as I do for good redundancy/backups), and you'll never go back to shared hosting.
