After getting into the MGTOW movement and supporting my fellow awake men for a little while I've come to identify myself with the movements definition and ideology of Ghosting. No drama, no girlfriend, no wasting effort on people I don't care about, or wasting money on superfluous stuff.

Ghosting: Benefits, Definition, and Perspective
Ghosting provides so many benefits to 21st century men that one blog can hardly cover it all. A wise man said that ghosting is not required for MGTOW, but being able to ghost enables a man to go his own way. Ghosting is the mark of triumph of man’s will, intelligence, and integrity over his base desires, his ego, and his bodily impulses.

I don't classify myself as anything but I agree with most of the views expressed in the article.

I find that as my views became more and more like this, the easier life is in general.

This. Boxing yourself in as a 'ghost' is just as restrictive and self limiting as all of the things any 'ghoster' is trying to avoid.

With that being said I think the way I live my life is very similar to the way a ghoster would live his life, in that I take extra care to ensure that I am in complete control of my life.

There are many things in that article taht I agree with.

Although I don't see myself as much of a ghost I do see the perspective that they are coming from and I would support it and probably more like it if I was single right now.

I want to spend my life helping people in a lot of mental/physical pain. Not because I'm a nice person or anything like that, but I think if they can learn to forgive and live life, so can I. I just don't know how to let go and sometimes it fucking eats me up inside.

^that's true actually. i'm going out for a run now. it's been long overdue.

I always want to be in control of my life. there was a time when I wasn't (not childhood) but my life was controled my forces that I allowed to control it.

But once I took back the reigns on my life I've been much much happier.

I think I am a bit of a ghoster now..

It really comes down to self-discipline, and I think that comes from having a conception of who you are and where you are trying to go.

I have never met someone who was disciplined but didn't have a direction or a passion they were following with a lot of energy. The two go hand in hand.

As far as women, I don't really believe in any brotherhood of the penis where a bunch of betas get together and pretend they aren't betas.

Be your own man. That's good enough.

Do you feel like there's some underlying resentment in the article?

I feel like men's rights groups will always be marginalized as long as they speak from a position that is leaking anger.

Men with passion are a small majority these days though don't you agree? This can be equated to the ever present and ever perpetuated war of the sexes, in which woman are in control of and winning. Women aren't in control? Are the majority of wage slaves men or women? Who will the state support 9 times out of 10, men or women? Who acts out violently for the other sex, man or woman?

There is a bigger problem to this than a lot of people think. For instance why is this female in power image encouraged and propogated by media and the government? Could it be perhaps that letting the superfluous women have the power in the household will allow the state to rule much easier? Of course!

I'm not saying all women have all the power in every relationship but it's undebatable that the majority do. Stupid women controlling confused men. It really has nothing to do with the alpha/beta thing which only exist to emasculate, there is a way bigger picture and society is crumbling directly because of this stuff. I think it's very noble to want to educate and erradicate this shit.

The fact that you're not interested in this stuff which is a much larger problem than any political debate you might argue about, worries me. It just strengthens my theory of how powerful women are in this matriarchy. Like a shadowy elite.

Anger worked for feminists...

Not anger itself, but its unintended side-effect is what worked for Feminism- guilt.

Anger without the ability to arouse shame, guilt or empathy in the observer has no influence.

Being celibate to avoid the drama of interacting with women sounds like some real faggotry.

How about this instead: I live for myself and I make it clear to everyone (both male and female) that I don't want anyone bringing petty drama into my life, and when they do I cut them off. Learn to be a man, instead of running away and hiding from pussy.

the alpha/beta argument is for suckers that are stupid enough to believe in everything they hear.

They have always been a small majority. Most people are lazy and dull.

Don't confuse technological advances with the elevation of sophistication in men.

Not really. The root problem of social relations is violence. Remove violence, and everything else works itself out.

It just strengthens my theory of how powerful women are in this matriarchy. Like a shadowy elite.
Not judging, but this stuff makes you sound like a butthurt nutter.

Women are different than men, but everyone abuses everyone. Men abuse men, women abuse women and so on. The problem is abuse. Not what sort of genitalia people are born with.

Yes and no. There is a point at which pursuing sexual relationships and satisfaction in our western context can be a huge productivity and soul drain.

Sure, if you find the right girl, that isn't the issue. But how many people want to go through a series of relationships, one or two costly divorces etc to get to that point?

Learn to be a man, instead of running away and hiding from pussy.
Some people just aren't as concerned with sex as others. Sexual reproduction is probably less than 20 years away from being made redundant by technology.

There are a lot of ways a man can assert his manliness in the world. Sexual relationships are only one of them. I would argue, it is the easiest one.
