Anyone know how to build a news site?

Looking for someone that would be interested in making a wordpress news site similar to this example. channel9newstoday dot com. I have the advanced newspaper theme for the template but am not sure how to customize it to a similar look to my example. Anyone one know how to do this?

Link to the theme you have?

There are PLENTY of news themes out there that look much better and are much more functional then that channel9newstoday dot com site.
