Why not bust out a landing page and run a local campaign on Adwords to capture leads, then sell them to a local solar installation company. eh?

don't like dealing with local companies - its typically a waste of time and they are finicky as fuck. I'd rather find an affiliate program.

Yup why get $25 a lead when you can get $500

Id create something for solar leads but im so damn busy :(

Good opportunity for an entrepreneur with some free time though
 
You could give qualitysmith a try too but they are similar to servicemagic and I doubt they have contractors that only do solar.
 
if there is opportunity in it and no major affiliate program, make your own. Find a solar installer, make a lead agreement with them, sign up other affiliates, profit like fuck, thank me later.
