I'm over 30 and I still get pissy if I don't get a game of Madden in every night, which equals at LEAST 1 hour of gaming per day.

and if I'm being honest, I'd play 3x (or more) as much if I didn't have shit to do.

Any other old dudes still have to get your gaming in daily?

22, but I can't hardly play PC games anymore. After working 10+ hours on the comp, it's the last thing I want to be on.

I bought an Xbox 360 a few months back, but all I've been really playing is Halo Reach. The other day I was thinking, "I'll most likely never have to time play an MMO ever again." At least not anyone the requires any type of grind.

I am pretty excited about a new gen console, wouldn't mind having the latest graphics on the big screen.

I'm over 30, I still play GTA IV (mp on xbl) daily, for 30 mins to a couple of hours. I'm 4 years into it and still not bored, it's just one of those games I can escape into.

You don't have a girlfriend do you? Devote that 1 hour to working on your social skills

I have a girlfriend of 5 years or so, I also have a social life, I can spare ~1 of the 24 hours a day to do something to escape life for a bit.

20 years old here and I get in some Call of Duty games every weekend. Plenty of fun with a team of players you know in real life.

I just bought a wii so I can play Super Mario Bros.

I haven't played it yet. And probably wont :/

Sounds to me like you have your addictions under control. So what's the big deal? Are you self conscious about this? Or did someone say something about it to you? Or are you just looking to validate your behavior by seeking like minded gay web masters?

I think you have him confused with the OP.

Two things helped me get video games under control:

1) Avoid competitive games - I just play mainly single player games like Walking Dead, Dark Souls, The Witcher 2, etc. Games like Call of Duty, Halo 4, etc. would get me addicted because I have to be the "best." Unfortunately I can't compete with 14 year olds and neckbeards that can play 10+ hours a day. When I play single player games I can play around 1 hour then I'm like, fuck it I gotta check my work stats and emails.

2) Fixed time schedules.

Wake up 7am
Work until 6pm
Gym 1 hour
From 7pm-12am is my anything goes time which includes video games, going on dates, TV, surfing Reddit, reading for fun, etc. Playing games is ok because I've done my work for the day and it's a reward.

32 yo. Play lots of games. When people ask me arent i too old i TRY to explain how today's games are so well made that i would rather play Modern Warfare 2 and 3 (single player) than watch an action movie, would rather play Fallout instead of reading an adventure book, and how strategy games today have more depth than chess...
