Anyone see thor this weekend?

I'm hoping captain america is much better. I wasn't really a fan of thor at all...I don't think I could have made it through without chainsmoking spliffs to keep me going.
I've been waiting for Avengers for a while, I'm hoping Whedon is able to kill it.
movies I'm most waiting for are Batman 3, I already know how it all plays out and ends and it is going to be EPIC, and Django Unchained which is Tarantino's new flick. I'm only a third of the way in but this shit is basically the hans landa from inglorious as a wild west bounty hunter being played by the same guy. sick!

I was not that impressed with Thor to be honest. Way too much CGI for my taste. Also, I understand the films producers wanted more hype with casting Natalie Portman- but geesh talk about a miscast. An unknown would have been much better.

dude once i was sitting next to her on a plane and she was totally cool and nice so i took a picture of her while she was sleeping without asking her!!!
I liked it. It was no Iron Man 1, but I thought it was fun. I hought it was a good setup for The Avengers.
Movie wasn't bad, wish they could've added like 20 more minutes to elaborate the story more, seems like so much was missing.

I'm surprised with some of the negative reviews here. I thought it was a really good movie and tbh I wasn't expecting much.

* That said, Turan didn't like the first Die Hard, so what does he know.
