Anyone here use Groupon, Living Social, Saveology, etc. to sell physical products?
I'm looking to give it a try, but was curious if anyone had any success/failure stories to share and some tips.

I always thought about this when I bought a shitty no name electric toothbrush from Groupon (http://blingdentalproducts.com/). I'm pretty sure at the time, they were a company that legitimately just started up for Groupon. The toothbrush works because they can have high enough margins out of China yet maintain the aspect of a deal. But I know no idea, and I would like to know.

yeah, looks like it would only work with high margin products since you would need to offer 50% off retail, then pay Groupon 50%, and then you would get whatever is left after your costs. Anyone know what kind of volume on a large city is generated on a typical product?

I have never done a physical product. Ran a local groupon for a crossfit gym. Sold over 350 in 2 days.

I have a membership site that will be live soon, wonder if I can run a groupon for it?!
