Anyone Use Legal Zoom?



I've used them. Took a while to get the businesses made, but haven't had any other issues except one time they charged me for a year instead of month to month for the registered agent fee. I gave them a call and they took care of it though. I haven't used anywhere else but I would recommend legalzoom.
 
Reviews? It is something if you do some research you can do yourself. Other wise, if you have no idea how to file for an LLC/And other legal shit you need can be helpful.

Personally got an LLC/S-Corp through Legal Zoom a few months ago. I have to say it was pretty seamless, and affordable.
 
Honestly legalzoom is overpriced. If you want a fancy bound book and corporate seal for $400 and pay even more for them to expedite putting a fucking stamp on an envelope, go ahead. And their registered agent fee is overpriced too. If you sit at home all day on your computer during normal business hrs, be your own registered agent. Otherwise, dont spend more $60 a year for it.

I went through setting up an LLC a couple years ago...I was originally going to spend almost $450 on an CA LLC. Ended up spending $70+postage+envelope+1 hr of my time (almost as long as the legalzoom questionnaire). Heres a thread on slickdeals I started abt it
