Has anyone used worldwidebrands to find dropshippers when setting up a website?
Is it worth the $300?

$300?? I used them a while back and it cost like $60 for the list.

Some are legit - many are just middle men for the actual wholesalers (which really defeats the purpose of drop shipping).

Instead of dealing with these big companies and the headaches you will get from doing drop shipping, just go affiliate - or find small independent companies who do not sell their own products online and see if they would be interested in a partnership. If they do sell online forget about it - you won't be able to undercut their prices.

Dropshipping is full of scams - so be careful. It is also more difficult and time consuming than aff..

i bought a world wide brands account a long time ago, but never ended up using it. Applied for a couple but they all had shitty margins and prices with high competitition.

Im not sure how their service works, but you can be sure of one thing, 9 times out of ten, unless you have an established / registered business you will not make any money by using drop shippers. Any drop shipper that accepts you without proof or concern of being a legit business is usually BS.

I tried the whole drop shipping thing years ago, after using a half a dozen different drop shippers and realizing the money just wasn't there, I registered my business, got hooked up with the top level distributors of the products I was interested in selling. Took a few thousand dollars, placed a few orders and whent from there.

If you do go through a wholesale/dropship source directory, worldwide brands is the only one I would go through (it's the only one that is ebay certified). Looks like the price is now $249. They still offer a money back guarantee so you can't go wrong.
