I used to use Elance occasionally when I wanted some cheaper programming, graphics, VA-type stuff, etc. Since they changed it to Upwork it seems like the quality has really gone down though, plus the site is just a pain in the ass to use. For anyone who used to use Elance - what do you use now? And is there another site that most of the good providers migrated to?

I used to use elance almost exclusively. Upwork completely sucks a big one for destroying it.

I've been very happy with Upwork but they did increase fee's for shorter term contracts - they are angling for long term relationship type users.
Freelancer has been also very good, and if you migrate from Upwork they were doing a special offer where you could waive the fees completely.
There are good freelancers on all platforms, you need to find them - that's the trick!
