Anyone else use AOL sponsored listings back in the day? Got this email from them a few days ago...
TLDR: Closing at the end of September. Contact them by 8/31/15 to claim a refund if you still have a balance.
Dear Valued Customer,
This email serves as notification that AOL, Inc. will discontinue the management and support of AOL Sponsored Listings (formerly Quigo). We thank you for your interest in doing business with AOL, and hope our partnership helped to achieve your business goals.
AOL Sponsored Listings will sunset at the end of September. After 9/30/15, our platform will be inactive, and you will no longer have access to your account.
We would also like to inform you that although your account has been inactive for quite some time, you may have a credit balance which we would like to refund to you. At this time, a check would need to be issued to you, and/or your company, for the remaining balance.
Please review your records to determine if there is a balance that is owed to you. To receive your refund, please reach out to SponsoredListings@advertising.com with the following information:
· Your account username (– this is generally your email address)
· Your full name
· Company name
· The name to whom the check should be written out (“payable to”)
· Current mailing address, including proper contact
Upon you reaching out, our team will notify you within 5-7 business days of your expected refund amount. An email will be issued once your claim has been processed. All refund requests will be processed within 30-45 business days and will be mailed to the address provided.
If we do not hear from you by 8/31/15 the balance in your account will be handled as unclaimed property. The property will then be reported to the appropriate state based upon individual state laws. Thereafter, any claim you may have to these amounts must be made directly to the appropriate state agency. The state will hold this property in perpetuity until the rightful owner claims it. If you have any questions, please contact us at SponsoredListings@advertising.com.
