I'm a newcomer to the affiliate marketing business. I want to build around the adult industry, however; i've been reading up on the forums and many have said the tmes have past for TGPs o MGPs...If anyone can give me a hint on how I should begin, I will be very grateful.

Thanks for you time.

Hi. I am new to affiliate marketing and would like to explore business opportunities in the adult affiliate marketing niche. I've been researching methods and techniques for awhile; it seems like many people are saying that Thumbnail Gallery Post (TGP) or Movie Gallery Post (MGP) methods don't work well anymore? Can someone give me some guidance as to how I should go about experimenting in the adult niche?

Ok, for the risk of being flamed with a blowtorch in my rectum. WTF are you wanting to do. I think I know just checking.

I complain about other people's writing skills, and yet, mine sucks too! Touche!

Yes, I have too much time on my hand....:bigear:

I am bad at writing and spelling, At least I can talk ok. Well at least for someone from WI with an accent. LOL

TGPs and MGPs now really only work for well established porn companies, where all the material links to a site that they own (and they usually own a few dozen at the very least) or links to ANOTHER TGP/MGP that has either more of their material (helps increase the ranking of their material) or they run an affiliate program with under PPC, because porn gets a LOT of clicks...

But yeah, as wdsguy says, you're a bit too late. There are HEAPS of TGPs out there.

If you're wanting to get into Adult, my advice is "don't".
If you still want to, then I'd recommend doing a blog and actually reviewing the sites you've got affiliation with. Honest reviews of porn end to sell it quite well.
You'll also want to join in on some of the adult web master forums. The one I know of is JustBlowMe.com Adult Webmaster Forum and someone else has recommended GFY Webmaster Board (these are the real URLs by the way, they're not jokes or rick rolls) but there are others.

Unless you have a pretty big budget (paysites), you'll make more money from your time investment working on non-adult ventures. At least until the dust settles a little and we see where adult is going - cause right now its going right to shit.

I stopped building new TGP/MGPs last year... and killed off several that I had built... tbh, it's not worth the time and effort you'll put into it these days...

if you're starting from scratch you're better off with a blog, tube site, review site, etc...

there's still money to be made... just don't build any generic or multi-niche adult sites... build something niche specific... plenty of strange fetishes out there that people are still willing to shell out some cash for and aren't in competition with the tube sites...
