Hi all,
I started a blog on the finance niche and to promote visitors thought of using Article submission and directory submission service.
Contacted a provider of this service [4submissions.com]

And when i asked
Q.Will you submit the same article to all these sites? or will you spin the article?
A. We will submit the same article to all the directories.

Q. Will your duty end once you submit or will it also include ensuring that my article is accepted and is live in all those directories.
A. Unfortunately, we won't track the acceptance of your articles. Sometimes it can take up to 4 weeks to approve your order.

Q. And will you use the same text for all the link backs or will you use diff texts?
A. Same text, two backlinks which you provide.

I dont understand if this will help me. Is this the right way or are these people taking me for a ride??
If they use the same text for all the backlinks ,wont it be a problem?

Will article spam help people visit your blog?

No.

Was not actually looking for article spamming,
My blog is related to tax, finance, and i dont see my blog anywhere in the search results :( (Though the articles were unique).

Read a pdf saying article submission would boost the site visits.
so thought of submitting them a new article on something with good search hits like tax deductions, and they would do the submissions, and give me back links there by boost my site rank and then more views on my blog.

But am i wrong? will it not work this way??

Are you stupid or trolling?

If you've got something useful go and promote it.

Go and find some forums relating to the subject, answer some questions and promote your blog, go comment on some related blogs and include your URL, find a related site and offer to do a guest post.

Why am I writing this...

In the long run, it should help you. as long as those article get cached by search engines and gives you link juice back to your website. I don't think they are taking you for a ride but the quality of the service might be low.

Having a few backlinks from article directories with the same text shouldn't hurt you to much just make sure all your links are not the same with all your future link development.

I hope this helps.

Thank you for your reply, it was the kind of answer i was looking out for.
And can you suggest any good service provider who can provide article submission, directory submission service at reasonable price??

I'm glad it helped.

Any good service provider for article submission... I really don't because I don't use services for link development. I can recommend what I would do though.

  1. Find a list of the top 25 article directories (easily done with google)
  2. Get 25 articles (use the same article 25 times, use rewrites, or use 25 different articles. its up to you).
  3. Have a unique resource box like this one:
    • To learn more about (topic), please check out (YourURL), which has articles on (sub topic), (sup topic), and much much more.
    • Have the links and sub topic change with each article submit
  4. Have the process written down named "Article Submitting"
  5. Hire someone to perform your "Article Submitting" process
This is just a rough idea and process but I hope you get the idea. If you do it this way, you will get what you want.

I don't really see the point to article submission. If you want direct traffic then do as diggler said. If you just want backlinks then do them by hand to get some high PRs or get SB.

Unless you have something to spin the content, then it is a waste of time. Why write content or spend more money outsourcing it you can use the content for the site? If you want to diversify your links just hit up some socials instead.
