Free Webinar: Q&A with Rand Fishkin and Dharmesh Shah

If you have SEO questions that you have been waiting to pose to some real experts, now is your moment.

Rand Fishkin, CEO of SEOmoz, and Dharmesh Shah, CTO of HubSpot, will join us in a Q&A-only webinar during which they will answer questions from the audience. Prepare your toughest questions and get ready to receive actionable advice from two of the world's greatest SEO experts.
The Q&A session will start on:

Thursday, October 11 at 1pm EST

Here are some of the questions that we have already received and that we plan on covering during the session.

* What are exact match domains?

* How relevant are keywords in blog posts when you are posting a few times a week?

* Should we apply all the same strategies to local search that are applied to general search?

EMDs always confused me tbh. Signed up.

OP i know you're trying to do a good thing but you're swimming with sharks here and nobody here is going to attend a bullshit seminar aimed at noobs to promote an email list or spread word about a brand.

I'm not even an SEO guy and I can those "tough questions". They should be embarrassed. That's like me hosting a mailing webinar and giving the follow as examples of tough questions.

What is the send button?
How important is the subject line?
Does the use of FREE, !!!, ???, or the word Viagra hurt inbox placement?

If those questions are examples of hard questions I can't wait until some of you WF seo guys start asking stuff. You'll confused the shit out of them so bad they either won't be able to answer, they'll ignore the question, or they'll answer the question with some bs answer full of buzz words that make themselves sound good to anyone without a clue.

EDIT:

Someone (paging dr grindstone) should ask him why he ranked SEOMoz for the term dog snuggie.

I think you guys overestimate their audience:

Where the fuck is Barry? I did not see "Does anybody want to see my penis?" post yet

Prepare your toughest questions...

What are exact match domains?

Exact Match Domain (EMD) is a type of site Matt Cutts tanked with his latest update ruining businesses of 127% WF members but leaving untouched business of the rest of WF members who were already broken after previous updates.

EMD was a measure of sophistication of WF SEOs, it was a number #1 technique used to rank sites and very often the only technique known to SEOs. Top SEOs used to mix EMD with advanced h1 and h2 tags and $7 SEO Holocaust-type services.

If you liked my post please share it and vote for it to be moved to Enlighten Members section, where it to be honest belongs.

PM my VA&PA Faceblogger if you want me to write a post "Life After EMD - How to Stop Being Matt's Little Bitch in 3 Simple Steps".
