Grindstone is WINNING

anyone seeing a "replacements movie" kind of NFL with all the players wanting more money these days? (not that I blame them for having to play more then 16 games a season)

lol everyone-but-packers-fans lol

I see no reason why we won't win back to back super bowls. The biggest obstacle in the Packers' way is whether or not the season actually happens.

Lions D Line should be pretty disgusting.

The real victory is for Temple University though. Two draft picks, one going in the first round (or should be) from the former worst DI football school? Hell yes.

HAH. we'll see about that

when I saw the lions draft nick fairley I was like wow, what a line. Get another corner opposite of alphonso smith and they are on the right path.

Yes we did take an OT! We know the O line needs it.

Still, LOL Lions, if your QB wasn't a China doll I'd say you have a chance at winning the division. However with how week the Vikings are, and for how much the Bears still suck, you can take the second spot behind the Packers.

2010- #2 overall, #30 overall

2003- #2 overall
2002- #3 overall

If you can't field a winning team after picking in the top 10 for 8 out of the past 10 years (5 of which were top 3 picks), something is seriously wrong. The Lions will be somewhat dangerous next year, but they aren't a complete team yet.

once the lions make the playoffs you can talk shit, otherwise you are embarrassing yourself

The real victory last night for the Lions was the fact that the Packers misssed out on Mark Ingram.....

You must not be familiar with the Packers, because that statement is pure stupidity.

The Packers already have smashmouth running backs in Ryan Grant and James Starks, which is the style of Mark Ingram. He wouldn't add any real value to the team. The Packers are a pass first team, not a run first team. It made way more sense to go OT to get someone who could take over for an aging Chad Clifton. Our O line has been fairly susceptible the last few years and this was a fantastic pick. The only other way they probably would have went is another LB to complement Clay Mathews.

Funny how that worked out with The Pack picking an OT. I too thought, wow, good d-line for the lions with that pick. But, I also though, wow, good pick for The Pack. So, as it stands right now, no reason for The Pack not to go deep again, vikes will suck, bears will suck more (they were the luckiest team in football last year), and lions will be moderately improved.

IN CHEESE WE TRUST...Go Pack Go.

You cant build a team capable or repeating as a super bowl champion around James Starks. Ryan Grant...well yes we will have to wait and see how he bounces back after the injury.

Cant see how that statement coming from me can be pure stupidity...when half the Packer's draft table was salivating about Ingram until the Saints traded up.

Mortenson, Simmons, and at least one other analyst noted the Packers interest and a number of people have confirmed that the Packers are the reason the Saints decided that they had to make a trade to move up. As Ingram was not going to fall past Green Bay.
