August Traffic

Figured I would see a down turn in traffic in the dog days of summer, but I really haven't until this week.

Curious if anyone else is seeing less traffic, or less conversions in August.

I get about a mil and half impressions daily via adwords.

not just you .. most of my guys that runs traffic to my sites are also 20% less compare from last month at this time.

Lower traffic on weekends, but nothing too crazy. Things overall seem to be keeping up.

August for mailers is one of the worst months of the year but so far, so good.

If your marketing ski jackets, you would naturally have a seasonal product. Ways to make money or make money at home has no season on the web as it's "universal."

Not really. During the summer months, people are out more, than inside their house. So generally all verticals should be seeing a drop in volume.

My traffic has gone up but conversions haven't gone up with it. I am not sure if it's back to school shopping draining my clients or just bad copy. Hopefully the "researchers" will eventually come back and buy. I guess I need to do more split testing!

I've always noticed a drop in traffic over the summer months. When its cold and people are at their cubicles , shit picks up.
