Aussie affiliates, want some motivation...

Very nice. :)

How would you describe living in Australia in general?

it has been blue skies and 19 degrees (celcius) for about 2 weeks straight here and it's the middle of winter...can't complain.

i'm in Sydney though, probably even better up north.

It's awesome living in OZ except for a lot of bullshit restrictions, you know guns, knives, swords and shit, I've gotta put in a fuckin "permission to import form" so I can collect my fuckin weaponry from customs.

Other than that it's great hot chicks, good weather, good people.

I'm in Syd to about an hour and a half away from Tamworth, winter here isn't to bad actually, it's normally freezing.

aloha from perth. agree with "Other than that it's great hot chicks, good weather, good people."

Niiice. QLD's too humid for me though.
I'm saving up for some beach front property in Glenelg, SA, or maybe something in the east chunk of Elwood, VIC.

Also, what's the deal with people that live 30 seconds form the beach always having such huge pools? I don't get it. You've got the beach right there!
A spa, sure, but if you want to swim, we have ace beaches.

Its illegal to have sex on the beach :D

And the beaches are uncrowded, especially around this time of year. Shots from this morning @ Kirra which is about 40k south of Hope Island.

I'd hate to live in Beverely Hills.. i'd liken that to somewhere like Paddington in Sydney rather than a nice QLD island. But anyway...

I've been at the beach everyday this winter. Love Australia

Yeah, I think the pools just get built with the mansions as standard.

My husband used to live on Hope Island, until about 3 years ago.

It's pretty fucking nice over there.

edit: if Hope Island isn't good enough for you because you can still buy a realtively nice house for $500k, try the Sovereign Islands... good luck finding ANYTHING for under a mill: http://www.realestate.com.au/cgi-bin/rsearch?a=s&cu=fn-rea&s=qld&ss=&ag=&t=res&snf=rbs&chk=0&lead=&ty=&searchFormSource=advanced+search&tb=+SOVEREIGN+ISLANDS%2C+&u=SOVEREIGN+ISLANDS&pm=&px=&pme=any&pxe=any&cat=Duplex%2FSemi-Detached%2CHouse%2CTerrace%2CVilla%2CWarehouse&o=def

Never been to Oz, it's not high on my list although I am interested to see Perth.

Wouldn't mind moving to somewhere like Whangarei or Christchurch in NZ. Can be done (relatively for NZ) cheaply. Lifestyle matters more to me than exclusivity.

Be warned, NZ is one big Detroit, you don't believe everything you see on TV now do you?

Sydney is not a bad place to live. Lots to do. Reasonable weather. Pretty expensive though.

Oz is generally pretty nice in terms of lifestyle. Still, I find it a bit boring so try to travel as much as possible.

Not a huge fan of Hope Island though. GF is from there, but we don't go back much.
