As discussed in yet another 'hey, how about we meet up' thread that was going to go nowhere in the real world, there is now a Meetup202 group for all the Sydney guys and any other Australian affiliates.

As opposed to what, going on a country wide tour? Let me call my backup dancers.

But people are joining for all over place. Feel free to use the group the group to organize a Melbourne meet up. Or anywhere else in Australia for that matter.

Or you could just start a Melbourne one. Seems to be a lot of Melbourne crew around the forums.

Regarding the meetups, we'll definitely schedule one for Adtech:Sydney, which is in mid-March, probably at the Commission Monster/Viva9 after party. Anyone you want to meet will be there, other then that Adtech is useless.

Will organize one before that, as its still a while away.

Will also do one for Affili@Syd in May, if its on again this year. I'll try and get some passes for the group (its about $300 otherwise). Affili@ is a bit more relevant, last year there were some decent affiliates speaking, like one of the guys from FatCat Rewards and a couple of other CPA guys.

I'm bumping this thread for now to get the word out, but further discussion is going to move to Meetup shortly.

Dispel: Country wide tour would be awesome. We could get a bus and stop at weird breweries along the way, like Grand Ridge (the waitresses there are amazingly easy)!
But something tells me that's not happening...
