Australian Telco doesn't know what time it is

Here is a good one for you... Called Telstra to get a phone line connected at a premises. the current time in queensland is 5:01PM.

You go through the prompts and after 10 minutes of pressing 1,4,2,1 etc you get a message saying "Sorry our office is currently closed. Our office hours a Mon-Fri 8am - 8pm..."

my question is... where did the last 3 hours go?

These people put their broadband price per megabyte by 7500% if you go over their quota. I'm not fucking kidding.

Not a big deal if you're know whats going on, but old people who don't even know what a megabyte is getting hit with $5000 per month bills is fucking retarded and highway robbery, unless you live in a world where the consumer has perfect information about all products and industries.
