well as a fellow UK person I can report that in Belfast today it was ball freezing and wet.

Thanks, I got 30 acres out in the sticks here in Maine (New England = northeastern US, across the pond from UK). LOL, the closest traffic light is 7 miles away. It's pretty mellow out here but I'm only 1 hr from good skiing, the ocean and major cities - Portland, Bangor. Boston and Quebec are about 2 1/2 hours in either direction. I got high speed cable right at the road so it makes it easy to play on the interwebz.
