Wtf last april I signed up for aweber for like 4 months and paid $50 or so I had no idea this was a repeating charge.

anyway the credit card tied to this account got stolen from me and I had to go to my bank and do a bunch of shit to get my money back. I didn't want the service anyway as it wasn't paying for itself.

Anyway I decided to check an old email account of mine today and this is what I find

Wtf I just checked one of my old emails on a parked domain and found this shit.

Anyone ever had this happen?

Tell em to go fuck themselves. If they dont have your social... they cant do shit. If you do want to reply, tell them to go to hell and not contact you anymore, and by law, they cant.

The proper response is none, make them send you something by mail. They are trying to get you to act, and e-mail is not enough proof they contacted you in debt collection.

Block them from your e-mail. PM me if they show up on your credit report. Replying is not necessary as they have to get you by mail to hold up in court. You always have an affirmative defense that you never received their e-mail.

Been there done that. Hold your ground. Check you Credit Report and make sure that they are not reporting, you can get one report free once a year from the big three [experian, trans union, equifax]. If they are reporting it's time to go to war, and there are other steps you should take.
