Backlinks and search volume

What have you guys found to be the best and most accurate site/tool to check backlinks?

Also, does anyone know how accurate the search volume estimates are for the adwords keyword tool?

Yahoo shows the most links. You can consider them pretty much accurate. If its your own site, google webmaster tools has the most accurate backlinks tool.

SEOelite is a neat tool for checking backlinks amongst other things. There are torrents for it.

About the adwords accuracy, FFS it is the second time I read that question on this board. Are you kidding me? Its google's data. It's google's fucking data. Who cares if its off by 10 or 100. They own the online searches. The only way for the tool to be wrong, is for them to intentionally alter the numbers. So YES, its accurate.

for backlinks at least, try the search status firefox extension:
https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/321

sits in the status bar, and easy to right click and get info.
