I created my first ad last night, and had it disapproved. Then read the Advertising Guildelines, and realized I was violating at least three different things.

Does anyone know the criteria Facebook uses to ban advertisers? Specifically, is there a limit to the number of disapproved ads before they kick you out?

Thanks.

you gotta be pretty bad 3 times.
a dissaproved ad wont get you banned.

could have searched

I have had at least 20 ads disapproved in the last week. You gotta realize that sometimes you can even create almost the exact same ad, just a different word or location you want it to display in, and they will disapprove it, even though they approved the other. Its just part of the game. I would say about 40% of the ads i put out come back disapproved, and 90% of the time there is no reason. Just resubmit and sometimes it gets approved.

they wont ban you for dissaproved ads unless you are uploading porn pictures or something. Or you upload rediculous amounts of uncompliant ads (i.e. 2000+ or something)

One tip, if you submit a shady ad and it does get approved DON'T make any changes to it.

More than likely the intern let it slip by and approved it. If you make a change to it it will go back into the review que and probably get bitch slapped. Better to make a similar ad and have it disapproved than your original approved one.

Now if the original ad sucks.....well that's a different story.
