lmfao

VW's marketing team really is par none. They make some of the funniest commercials, and usually don't mind offending people. I love it.

When this came out a couple of years ago Im sure i heard that the money did come from VW but via a 3rd party production company. The advert was designed to be an internet viral never intended for UK tv

That makes sense. Because as much as I'd like to see VW pulling this off in front of the entire world, I doubt they'd play with their brand like that and consciously offend millions of people.

I was thinking the same thing too. I think it's quite brilliant. Companies should have a whole division devoted to commercials that "woops , I guess that is a little too racy for tv but we can't help it if it shows up on youtube*shrug*"

i think this German glasses commercial is a little bit more funny.

Who would this offend...terrorist?

um parents with small children and anyone who's ever been affected by terrorists (which one could make an argument that that was most of America). Some people with a twisted sense of humor (which is all of WF) get it and think it's funny but should also recognize that it's just not appropriate for mainstream TV.

Which is why we have the internet.
