Banner & Link Exchanges

Hi - I've never used any Banner Exchanges or Link exchanges before - does anyone recommend using these for your online marketing efforts? e.g. for boosting SEO or for marketing in general - i.e. are they any good, and if so, do you know any good ones to signup to? I've done a google search and there's loads of them but have no idea if they provide a useful service?

Hello,

I would go for banner exchanges instead of link exchanges. Banners won't be considered by Google (as they are mainly graphics), and you won't jeopardize your website to a penalization caused by a link exchange scheme.

Other guys here may have different opinions, of course.
