The baseball season is already almost a quarter of the way through, and I was just wondering if anyone had given any thought on any predictions (playoffs, division winners, WS winner?).

I predict the White Sox and Cubs to make the World Series and the Cubs will fall to the Curse of the goat.

You mean the same White Sox that just lost 20-1 to the Twins and the same Cubs that just got swept by the Cardinals?

White Sox had a strong showing against the Twins, I'm convinced the White Sox will make it to the World Series.

My beloved Royals are finally going to win the division this year. Tigers can't keep up this pace and once Soria is back we should be fine.

I assumed you were a cub fan so I'm busting your balls.

Serious prediction:

Rays vs Dodgers

btw- Yankees went to the world series in 2004 when this happened

Cleveland Indians vs. New York Yankees - Recap - August 31, 2004 - ESPN

1 game is nothing during a 162 game season. White Sox still took 2/3 from the twins. You could lose 1,000 to 0 and it still counts as only one loss.

...Tigers can't keep up this pace

ORLY?

Why is that? Best pitching and defense in the league along with very good hitting. What exactly are they missing that the Royals bring to the table? If anyone can't keep up the pace, it's Greinke, and without Greinke, the Royals would be down there with Cleveland. Minnesota is the only team that worries me...

Minnesota's been sucking ass lately, despite that romp of the White Sox. Mauer is the only thing holding that team together.
