When I first started out I didn't quite realize the importance of being anonymous. Some of my accounts, Adwords most importantly, are under my personal name and email and tied to my credit card. I've been doing relatively low volume and selling non-shady stuff, but I want to start over with things and cover my ass more. Any advice?

That's not exactly true aesin.
If you know what you do and make no faults you can gain a very high quality of anonymity. Good enough to even hide from authorities.
Of course it becomes a lot harder once credit-cards and passport-verification are involved.
But in case of adwords/adsense I know many people have a LOT of accounts successfully. As it is usually not illegal there is no danger from authorities, so a good private proxy will overcome their IP checks. (of course the payment needs to be handled too
