I've been rolling with the AeroGold until I just got my AeroGold Infinite last week.

What does everyone else use for credit cards?

I am using the Visa Avion from RBC. It gives you 1 point per $ spent, if you book flights it is basically 1% of your spend in $ for flights or other stuff like tv's etc. They also have promo stuff as well, I was in the bank last week and they were telling me I could book Australia round trip for 100k points which seems pretty decent. I have heard the Aerogold is really good tho, how does it work ?

It is also 1 point per $1 spent. I think it is around 1% reward as well. I missed the boat on a corporate amex aeroplan card last year, $500/year fee but 2 points per $1.. which is hugggge!

I can book roundtrip to thailand for two 150,000 points.

CIBC Aerogold VISA INFINITE

Damn, I just got the CIBC Aerogold without knowing the INFINITE card even existed. That card looks a lot better. But now they tell me I have to wait 3 months before they can upgrade me (some official policy since my account is brand new). That blows - what a bunch of cunny's for not telling me in the first place...

TD Gold Elite - 1% cash back, no yearly cap.

TD Platinum Plus - Travel car w/ no blackouts.

Geoff, see if they can get you on Platinum travel instead...I just switched to that one, pretty much the same shit but less stringent approval. They just switched me over without doing the usual we have to send it in for approval bs.

It works out to about 1.5% in cash value with the infinite/platinum.
