it's powered by Akamai, which is way better than Amazon. Altough they are not very cheap, but it's a pretty good premium CDN

I've read some independent testing and gogrid was fastest (way faster them amazon cloud btw).. don't remember source just google it I remember I was on top results looking for CDN comparison

I have personally used Rackspace with really good success. It has been 2 years and I don't think I have ever had any down time that was their fault. They are a little more expensive though, so I am not sure how they compare with some of the others.
