Get an old snow sled or a used tire that a tire shop is gonna throw away. Look for some 1" manila rope on ebay. Buy some sand at the hardware store and put it into sandbags. Put sandbags on sled/tire and get in the best shape ever. You will get in great shape and build muscle as you're not doing a lot of running but just hard ass work.

i like hill sprints for cardio, it's the only exercise i need. it also helps living on a mountain with beautiful scenic roads to climb.

Or a low wagon and some ice cream/chicken.

Depending the area of the States you're in, a fat chick will hop in within 10 minutes.

This way you can look behind you for extra motivation to get a few more minutes out.

I got a massive tractor tire and ship rope for my backyard workout. I do a circuit with the whole tire flipping thing the length of my yard, have a sledgehammer on one end, and the rope in a tree at the other. Shit kills me!

I cut down trees, cut them into 6'-8' lengths, run a choker cable around them that goes thru a 18" handle and tow/row/haul/crawl/whatever it takes up a 150' hill. It's a sweat inducer. Nowhere near as fit as that guy tho...

That's freakin brutal dude...

Did a circuit today of all sleds. 50 yrd sprint x 3 stopping after each 50 yrds to pull in the rope with my arms. Also did 2 sets of bear crawls which fuckin sucked.

Pretty sweet, I love circuits like those. Gives you cardio for days and makes you feel really good. I'm betting this thread doesn't get as big as the "bulking up" thread though.

While I like to do hill sprints and don't mind them, once you tie something heavy like a tire or a guy with a resistance band to my waist and I have to start running, I almost want to collapse before I even start. That shit sucks.
