Ive always loved documentaries for some reason, weather its about people places or history. Anyway i found this site Documentary List | Top Documentary Films about a week ago and been obsessed with it ever since. Basically they have about every documentary youve ever heard of online available to stream for free, most are on google vids or live leak. Only thing they are missing are some "most viewed", "highest rated" filters but here are a few ive been watching:

American Drug War: The Last White Hope | Watch Free Documentary Online

A Machine to Die For: The Quest for Free Energy | Watch Free Documentary Online

Download: The True Story of the Internet | Watch Free Documentary Online

If anyone else has some recomendations please post.

Gasland

Sickening documentary on the natural gas "gold rush", the method of hydraulic fracturing used to extract it that causes thousands of people's faucet-water to be flammable, and the corporation-government collusion that ensures that nobody can do shit about it.

I found this one to be a little more comical than informative, but Cocaine Cowboys II was pretty damn good.

Thread's been done last October, went to 2 pages, a lot of good stuff recommended:

best documentary??

maybe, but only the most popular/recent documentaries are on torrent and even then v slow. This site has lots to stream straight away.

"Hidden Colors: The Untold History Of People Of Aboriginal,Moor, and African Descent" is a groundbreaking documentary that challenges conventional knowledge about the role of people of color in world history. We are generally taught that historically, most people of color around the world were primitive and uncivilized, and they only became modernized after they were saved and colonized by European explorers. The information in the film will uncover the real truth and and contributions of these people. .

if you like marketing the century of the self is easily the best documentary ever made. edward bernays is probably the biggest badass that has ever lived. no joke.

i challenge someone to find a better marketing/pr/influence related documentary (mostly because if there is something better out there than the century of the self, i want to see it!)
