Hi everyone,

I run a blog which is fairly image heavy. It averages about two images a post, and with over 600 posts and counting that's a lot of images.

Therefore, I'm looking for a quality host with solid bandwidth and storage. On certain occasions (digg, twitter, etc.) I need to be able to serve images to lots of people at a time and not crash.

I'm also looking for a host with good security, service, quality, etc. SSH access is preferable too, and the latest php, mysql, cpanel and all that jazz of course.

My budget is ~$25/month at this time (could maybe go a bit over for a good deal). Does anyone have any suggestions? I'm currently with HostGator :/

Thanks!

Hostwinds was founded in 2010 <-- would be good idea to have a bit more experience/track record as a company under your belt before you go around slinging mud at other providers. Don't know why you decided to go that route but not a very professional way to conduct business. :2twocents:

@Crynos: Feel free to hit us up directly and we can work with you on a custom plan if needed that will best meet your needs. Webair has been in business since 1996 with multiple datacenter locations and you can rest assured we are here for the long haul. You can take a virtual tour of New York datacenter and check out recent ZDNet coverage of our datacenter as well:

Custom Complex Web Hosting | Dedicated Servers | ICANN Accredited Registrar | Datacenter Colocation

Old datacenters never die | ZDNet

Not slinging mud at you at all, I never said anything bad about your company. It was just a funny way of trying to get you to beat my offer so I could come back and beat your offer again...... You can't beat my offer so you simply decided to "be the bigger person, and act like your better than me" It's all god I think people should make their own educated decisions based upon the facts. My offer includes roughly double what you offer, for half the price. Those are the fact just sayin.

What's wrong with hostgator? I've used them for years without a single problem.

I hear people bash them all the time, but I've never heard any legit complaints.
