best hosting set up for micro sites?

I know lukep says to use reseller hosting from hostgator.

what does everyone else use? these would be for microsites. How many would you have one one account? what kind of account, etc..

2nd that - ive got a ton of MFA sites on a baby plan one was an old auto blog that went up to 10k+ posts lol...deleted it a few months ago but was still very reactive.

its less about how much data you have on there and more about the amount of traffic you are getting

Ive got a few with 40-60 packed on.

Only been bitched at once, and that was for a browser game project running zillions of crons.

I have room for both Blue Host and Hostgator, both of which I really like. I can't say I like one more than the other. I do think once you get to a certain point that a reseller account is good. I'm not there yet.

Hostgator puts you on all their shared ip's and you never know what community youll get grouped into and who else is sharing the ip's with you.

What's the best way to set up the new sites on the hostgator reseller account? Just create one cPanel and dump all 40 or 50 sites in there or create say, 5 cPanels and put 10 per each?

what's the difference?
