Hello I am a total newb at AM and have learned a lot of valuable information here on WF. I would like to know with all the subscription keyword reasearch tools on the market, which one would be the best to invest in. I am on a tight budget so I can only subscribe to one.

I have used some of the free research tools but they are a little more time intensive, there has to be a better way. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

If you are strapped for cash just use adwords keyword tool +seo book's misspelling tool. No reason to spend the money yet.

Sticks

Check out keywordelite.com and check out the vids on Adwords site targeter and adwords competition sniper . It goes for 197 , But Google keyword elite 2.0 coupon and a guy has 100 bucks off - So i got mine for 97 . Other guru's are throwing in crap if you want to pay full price . I have only messed around a bit , so far i like it more than Market Samuri and Micro niche finder .

Trellian is nice. They also have a free version keyworddiscovery.com/search.html that counts up to the top 100 keywords and is similar to the old overture.

Also another cool tool even though it is not a keyword generator but does allow you to see a competitors paid and organic keywords etc and is free for now is keywordcompetitor.com

Market Samurai is a very nice tool and I use it frequently myself. It's keyword tool uses Google's adwords keyword tool and it get's the work done. Only downside is that it can be a little slow at times.

An elegant and effective keyword tool is Keyword Research Pro. I sometimes had some trouble getting it to show the capcha required to get the keyword search count, but other than that it's great.

Ok quite honestly I don't have money to BUY fancy softwares so I use the tips from bummarketingguide and apply using google adwords keyword tool and it works for me. I've heard keyword elite is good, though.

Tools are expensive - problem is the next one always looks better than the last one you bought and soon enough you've got dozens.

Adwords Keyword Tool works great - you can also try and dig deeper by grabbing the keywords it spits out and taking a few and plugging them into the look-up to see what else can be found.

You don't need a keyword research tool, between Google keyword research tool; and the bottom of the SERP page, "search related to [keyword]" and the fucking wonder wheel under options you're all set. Don't be lazy, no tool is going to tell you "HEY THIS A MONEY MAKING KEYWORD".

But in true hypocrite fashion, I use Market Samurai...but only to impress the ladies.
