I'm looking for recommendations on a good magazine affiliate program I can join. By good, I don't necessarily mean highest payout or highest converting but care more about reliability. I'd rather make less and actually have people receive their subs. I suppose I could browse all the networks and then google each company looknig for complaints but figure I could save a lot of time if anyone cares to share. Thanks.

Why become an affiliate and earn pennies when you can reap much more $$$ by becoming magazine agent yourself?

Take a look at SubscriptionAgency.com - Magazine Clearinghouse & Fulfillment Agency, I've used them before in the past along with a few others. Some magazines you literally keep 90% of the sale price, so if you sell that subscription at $10 you keep $9!

Biggest pain though is they are really stringent on record keeping and request sales and recipts docs on occasion. If you can't provide the docs they close your account. Also, you pretty much cannot sell on eBay...though I still don't see how all those sellers selling mags dirt cheap on there still are.

I had good luck with subscription agency also when doing my own sales... still get renewals a couple years later through just emails....

But if you really are looking for just affiliate programs, Magazines.com is about the best. Commissions are slightly less than others, but conversions are better in my experience.

For subscriptionagency, who actually processes the payment...is this like you sell the magazines and process payment, then you get charged by subscription agency for the wholesale cost, the difference is your profit?
