Best Payment Method for Spanish Traffic

What are the most popular forms of payment online for Spanish market?

Not sure on CC usage in spanish speaking countries and was adding echeck as an option.

First of all, spanish speaking traffic comes from 3 main points, Spain, South Amercia and Central America so the preferred payment method will oscillate from zone to zone.

For Spain, CC is the best method, they use Mastercard mainly.

For South America in countries such as Venezuela, Colombia and Argentina, a good way is using Paypal but, don't bother yourself targeting South America... no money there.

Central America, just focus on Mexico, they have both Paypal and CC, mainly Amex and Visa.

For Spain I would say more people pay with Maestro (MC) Debit Cards, not necessarily straight out CC's

As far as the other statement that there is no money to be made in SA, I would disagree with that. If you have the right product, the right billing and a geo-targeted well translated page ...there is money to be made.

Well, if you consider that Maestro is a local card useless outside the country borders then you might consider aiming to International MC CC.

As for SA the conversion ratio you will retrieve for any campaign is not worth the effort... but you can try :)

I desagree with the statement of "there is no money to be made in SA".
Chile: great economy
Colombia & Venezuela: Internet culture is huge.
Brazil: Huge beauty market.
