I'm looking to buy some aged domains, preferably with PR3/PR4.
What's the best place to find and buy aged domains (not websites)?

There is really not a best place. Each auction house will have good and bad domain names. Some are for sale and others are on the expired list. True domainers automate data mining of domain names then they will filter. There are many services that will do this for you or you can run a custom script.

Dont mean to hijack your thread...but ive been looking for a long time myself. No luck...ive gone through every possible way to find something good in the "insurance" market...no good result so far.

I've purchased a few aged domains (+8 yrs) for under $100 via Freshdrop.. there are literally hundreds a day that expire.

1. Download Xenu (Find broken links on your site with Xenu's Link Sleuth (TM))
2. Point it at a directory sub-category in the niche you're targetting. Enable "Check external links"
3. Sort results by status and look for "No such host". These are domains that no longer resolve.
4. Check whois on each one. If you're lucky you'll find some just sitting there available to be registered. Otherwise contact the owner and offer to purchase the domain. Or if any are expiring soon, try to catch them with snapnames, namewinner, etc.
