You might have noticed that im not afraid to ask n00b/stupid questions here, even with the high risk of dickrollage. I'd rather learn than be scared to ask.

Ok, i've been dabbling in adwords for the past couple of months. At first i had some good results (3 conversions on the first day) but since then its all downhill.

I tried creating new adgroups with much more popular terms (the one keyword that was converting was the product name itself).

I've also tried setting up several other campaigns and where i think i should be getting impressions, im getting nothing.

I think i've gone about setting my campaigns all wrong.
Is there a 'best' way to go about setting up a new campaign in order to test as many keywords as possible in a short time frame? Then i can narrow it down from there.

Should i be gathering every single keyword i can find and creating hundreds of adgroups? Im thinking that is not the best way to do it to start with. So far I've only been targeting less than 40 keywords total, some with very high search counts and some very low.

Content network is shit for me, getting virtually no impressions so i turned it off to concentrate on search. But i'd appreciate tips/links for both content and search networks. Any newb resources you can share would be great, keen to read more advanced stuff too for future usage.

No dickrolls please :food-smiley-010:
