Best way to set up your own leadgen offer?

Not sure how newbie this is, I posted it here to be safe. Just wondering really, how would one go about setting up probably an email submit offer, where it would all be hosted on my own servers? I.e. finding companies/people willing to buy email leads?

leadgen is really a broad term, as it can cover alot of things. if you are talking email submits - the best return you are going to see is mailing them yourself.

Yeah, sorry, I meant email submits. And I considered mailing myself a while ago, but to get a return on that, wouldn't it be quite long term? Like a year or something? Obviously by then you've made a larger profit, but until then you're left with no money. Is it possible to make money with an email list short term though?

And what sort of things could you mail "free ipod" etc traffic?

Setting up your own offer is definitely not a newbie question. I would just post it in the affiliate marketing section to get the most responses.
